Hey everyone,
Tesia here! I’m sure that you are diligently planning for Christmas Eve services and end-of-year work while also (hopefully) looking forward to some time off for the season. Rev. Donna Mills, pastor Rootstown Church of Hope in Rootstown, OH recently left a comment on one of my Facebook posts about the resources available on this Substack:
“I used this today to plan worship for the first six weeks of the new year. Thank you!”
That is so awesome, Donna! Praise God.
Part of the vision for this Substack is to give you resources for every Sunday and season of the church year. I know how difficult it can be to find solid, orthodox, and modern resources for worship. I want to support you and help you get ahead. It brings me so much joy to partner with local church pastors and leaders in ministry!
I’m currently writing liturgies for Holy Week. Lent resources will be available the first week of January. Resources are written using the Revised Common Lectionary, but are general enough to use in any church setting (regardless of style).
Right now I have Epiphany through Ash Wednesday published on the Substack. This includes ideas for faith formation at home or in kid’s ministry, as well. You can find it all on the Monthly Resource Roundup. These resources are available to paid subscribers — $5 a month for resources for every Sunday and season of the church year. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Follow me on social media for more resources to share on your church pages or for your own personal devotion time. This includes historic worship practices of the church, prayers, inspirational content, and seasonal info for your devotional life. Right now we’re praying through the verses of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel (O Antiphons), an ancient prayer practice reaching back to the fifth century (probably earlier) of the Church!

» I AM PRAYING FOR YOU!
Let’s pray.
Holy God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I pray for every pastor and church leader who is reading this prayer. I pray for their families and ministries during this season. I pray that, like Mary, they would know your grace and favor as they lead the people you have entrusted them with in worship. Let them experience the true joy of the season. We cancel out any work of the enemy that us against them and ask for divine protection in the name of Jesus.
Father, thank you for sending Jesus in flesh, fully human and fully divine, to save us from sin and death. Thank you that he has come to set the captives free and deliver us from evil. Move by the power of the Holy Spirit in our worship services and bring a new revival in our churches. That’s all we want, Lord, is more of you.
Come, Lord Jesus. We just want you.
Amen.
